About this Converter

This tool uses the simplified Beta (β) parameter equation for Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistors to convert between resistance and temperature.

Resistance to Temperature (Kelvin): $1/T = 1/T_0 + (1/β) \ln(R/R_0)$

Temperature to Resistance: $R = R_0 \cdot e^{β (1/T - 1/T_0)}$

Note: For higher precision over wide temperature ranges, the full Steinhart-Hart equation is recommended.
